DC-7B Restoration

Let the restoration begin, but first your help is needed!  Currently the DC-7B, N4889C or better known as Eight Nine Charlie "89C" has been in storage for 13 years. Located at the Chandler Air Park in Arizona where crews are currently working on the aircraft a project of this size will need the best restoration team and strong financial backing. Headed by Jeff Whitesell and Doug Scroggins there plan is to prep and rebuild the vital systems for a ferry flight. "Our plan is to fly the aircraft to Victorville, CA. (VCV) where the restoration will be done" says Doug Scroggins. At VCV they feel the support for such a large project is best place and home for 89C.
